  6. JoKeRzCaRdProDucTion says:

@barrelstudios thats wierd cause over here in vegas the epi lp customs are only 600

that amp as fantastic clean tones

  11. henriclexD says:

dude, i know what you mean about the epi les paul, when i first went to my store it sounded crap but after a couple of hours of playing it all corrects itself if you get what i mean. i’d never get any other copy les paul apart from epiphone and maybe gordon smith but that’s just me.

  12. barrelstudios says:

thomman is a german website that sells instruments, bought my first guitar fronm that shop, they make really good deals.
ps: why did you remove your last comment?

  13. barrelstudios says:

i worked for 3 weeks, i had nothing to do on my lunch breakes and the guitar shop was just over the street.
if you check the price of the les paul studio on thomann you see that the gibson is much cheaper than a epiphone les paul custom.
were i live they sell the standard for 1300

  14. JayLacelle says:

wtf? epi lp custom retail = $800
gib lp studio retail = $1300
and i doubt very much that you tried 9 guitars

  15. barrelstudios says:

no, i tried three of them, they all sucked just as much, and the money you pay for a les paul custom is even more than a gibson les paul studio (wich is a great guitar btw)

  16. JayLacelle says:

well of course the studio/100/and special suck they are very cheap….i’m talking about the standard which im guessing you only tried one of

  17. barrelstudios says:

the custom wasn’t the only one i tried, i tried the standard, the studio, the lp100, the sg400, the sg310, and the les paul special.
non of them were good according to me

  18. JayLacelle says:

omg why do i keep telling people this:
“just because you tried one and there was something wrong with it doesn’t mean they all suck”
Some guitars have problems, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad brand

  19. barrelstudios says:

epiphone sucks, i played a les paul custom at the local shop, it sounded like shit, the sustain sucked, it did not stay in tune, and it just wasn’t comfortable, i have a harley benton les paul that i got for just under 100 bucks and it was ten times better than an epiphone.
according to me the best les paul ”copy” and i use that term losely is the hagström swede

  20. GotTimeToooKill says:

    ur mom felt cheap. ha.

  21. JayLacelle says:

it plays and sounds like a gibson? have you even played one before? there is no way a 200 dollar jay turser can even be compared to a gib

  22. lpfan58 says:

then y did i spend 200 on a guitar that sounds/plays like a gibson if theyre so much worse than a stupid epi?

  23. JayLacelle says:

my epi was 400 and it sounds better than my friends $1000 lp. i am not saying that all epis are great but they are certainly better than jay tursers.

  24. lpfan58 says:

well, to get a decent one, u have to spend at least like 500, and i said the one i could find that was as good as mine was like 800…yes, u can get an lp junior for 100, but most of the time, theyre rly pieces of crap, once in awhile ull find a good cheap epi, but most of the time u still have to spend alot

  25. JayLacelle says:

    epi lps are not $800
